HCI Hyderabad November Meet up was
organized at CA office. The meeting
started at 6:00 PM. The meeting
was attended by professionals from
various organizations including
Progress, CA, Microsoft, Infor Global,
Convergys, Satyam, Deloitte, Virtusa,
HFI, Kern Communications, and Microusability
etc.

The meeting started
with an opening note by Raman Saxena,
UI Architect, CA. He discussed the
HCI-Hyderabad achievements till
now after completion of six months
|

Following this, Sumit Dey, Sr. UI
Designer, CA, talked on "Power of
Metaphors". The participants discussed
on the use of metaphors software user
interface design. |

The talk was followed
by a presentation on "Portals-What
are they? Why do we need them?"
by Wagesh Kulkarni Senior Business
Analyst - Usability, Infor. He spoke
on what are portals and why we use
them.

The meeting was concluded by informal
chat over snacks. Participants interacted
and exchanged ideas informally and
discussed their interest and focuses.
